When I actually discovered,

well, I didn't discover.

I was told that I had PTSD
due to the sexual trauma.

It, I work in the veteran world.

So I basically argued

with the therapist that I didn't have it.

And she basically went

through all the symptoms of PTSD and

and many of them

I recognized from the combat veterans

that I had worked with.

I, I was not a combat veteran, so...

I had worked with a lot

and I was listening to all of those.

And I went, yes, that's that.

And she goes, but you have this, this, this, this.

And I'm like, yeah, but it's different.

And she goes, no, it's not different.

The only thing that's different

is the trauma that caused it.

But you have all the same
reactions and the same symptoms.

So that was hard for me to hear.

Cause I just thought it was a bad memory.

I didn't understand how
it was affecting my life.

And of course I didn't actually go

to her until my second
wife was leaving me.

So, that became the catalyst.
