After coming home from a deployment, a lot had changed
and I didn't even realize it.
I kind of saw...I look back at myself as a frog in water.
The temperature was going up, and I never, never realized it.
I was evaluating safety and security constantly.
I think it's just the nature of, you know, the job.
So in retrospect,
there are a number of things, triggers,
the sound of a gun going off
or fireworks
or a car door slamming
or even seeing a bag of garbage
or a carcass along the side of the road-
those are all things, for instance, that are triggers.
