I spent 40 years living with what I thought was a normal life

and finally after some unusual things happened to me,

I sought help and I went directly to the VA to do so.

I found their help to be exactly what I needed,

for both myself and for my family.

My wife attended a session with the clinician,

and my brother attended a session with the clinician

because these were the two people I was most closest to.

They were instructed as to what to look for,

how to handle situations, my wife being very concerned

that suicide situation would become a reality

and she had faced suicides before

so she wanted to be on top of that.

My brother just was concerned that his big brother was going

in a direction that not might be the best for everyone

so he wanted some information and he got it

from the clinician at the VA.
