I snapped a lot at people.

Richard Adams, US Navy 1971 - 1972, talks about how he knew he had PTSD.

I can't get on trolleys or anything that are crowded.

I'll wait.

You know, I just feel like I can't breathe.

I was irritable.

I snapped a lot at people.

Especially jobs where people, if they yelled at me

or made me feel bad in front of other employees, it was no good

because I ended up in court for beating

on my bosses, a few of them.

I mean, I had a very violent temper.

And now today I wouldn't hurt an ant.

[laughs] I walk around.

I won't step on them, you know.
