It wasn't really hard.
I scheduled an appointment.
It was very easy to get that appointment.
I don't really even think I informed anybody
in my chain of command.
I just scheduled it.
I went in there.
It was kind of hard to, it was kind of hard
to accept a little bit that I was there,
that I wasn't this Spartan warrior, that I was kind
of human and that I was having these emotions.
And I think I downplayed a lot of the techniques that he,
in the first initial visit, I feel like I downplayed a lot
of the techniques that he was trying to teach me.
Tried to teach me about breathing exercises,
about a muscle relaxation technique and I downplayed it.
Thought it was ridiculous.
Thought it was stupid.
I didn't need any of that kind of stuff.
But what I realized through that first couple of visits is
that everybody has something that works for them.
And that's the point, is going in there,
trying different things, just like in life.
You're not going to know if you have a hobby, you're not going
to know if you like something unless you go out
and try a whole bunch of different things.
Once you find that thing that works for you,
then you can go ahead and keep doing it,
invest more of your time in there,
'cause it'll work for you.
