I ran people off the road.

Ray Manzano, US Army 1972 - 2007, talks about how he knew he had PTSD.

Transcript

Some of symptoms that I or other people had noticed on me

was my anger.

I had really bad road rage.

I actually had ran people off the road,

jumped out of my car, pounded on a person's window.

I also was isolated for the first year at home, I just,

basically, stayed curled up on a couch, didn't like going out.

I couldn't go to any of my son's sporting events, at first.

It took me a while to gradually

get to where I could be within crowds.
