I m actually very much at peace now.
I'm 59 years old and I can say for the last,
I would say four years I've been actually comfortable
in my own skin.
Being me, looking in the mirror saying, "Hi, how are you doing?
You're a nice guy today.
You're not shooting at people, you're not cursing them
out for doing nothing."
People used to be just a target for my anger
because there's anger at myself.
Now it's not true.
Now I live at the shelter at 17 Court Street and me,
they call me the happiest guy in the building.
I say, "Good morning," and they say,
"My God, he really means it."
And I do. So I mean no, I know what therapy can do.
I know that you can be happy again.
You don't have to be miserable.
Come in from the cold.
