I went to
the therapist
that I had gone through
marriage counseling.
And I asked her if she could see me
and see me soon.
And I just told her
that I was having
all kinds of sleep disturbances.
And so, I was talking about
all the things that went wrong.
And I was trying to say
it was because my wife was leaving me.
And she goes, "There's
gotta be more to this."
You know, "What is it?"
You know. She knew I was hiding something.
I knew I was hiding something.
I just didn't think
that I could ever talk about it.
And I guess, and I even said to her,
I said "Now we have that rule,
that, you know, whatever I say here,
doesn't get shared. Right?"
(nervous laugh)
And I just took a deep breath,
and I told her what happened.
And she said,
"Well, that's, that's rape."
And I went, "Oh yeah, yeah, yeah."
I didn't know.
I just didn't know how to accept
any of the things that happened.
, And she was the one who just
put the mirror
in front of me
and said, "This is what happened to you.
This is what it's called.
And this is why you
behave the way you behave.
And this is why you're having the episodes
that you're having now."
