It was about 1997, '98.
I just got so depressed that I stabbed myself figuring I'm done
with all this, I'm done with America,
I'm done with the government, you know, there's no hope.
Just, work just came and went, you know,
so I got so depressed at that.
Then when I woke up and I was still alive,
now I'm mad that I couldn't even do that right and the doctor sat
down and we talked for about six hours.
He stayed with me the whole time.
I mean, I was on suicide watch anyway so.
And no, we just talked and I realized
that yeah this man's right, that I needed heavy treatment,
I needed to take medication on,
how can I put it, a consistent basis.
