busted a PFC down to a private
and gave me the PFC rank
because a guy was harassing me sexually.
He was a PFC and he thought that he could
make me do things because of that rank.
And when I told Sarge about
it, Sarge gave me his,
took his rank off and put it on me,
and he took my rank and put it on him.
I felt heard.
I felt heard and respected,
and rank is something that's earned.
It's not given. You have to earn rank.
So I earned that, you know,
and it was because I
came forward and told.
