I find that I am able to be a better mentor.

Ayla Bennett (US Army, 2004-Present) says the skills she learned in treatment have helped her become an effective mentor to other women in the Army.

I have found that

as I communicate with females,

females in junior leadership

positions, junior enlisted

soldiers, officers,

females in all positions,

I find that

I am able to be

a better mentor to them,

even subliminally,

when they're

not looking for mentorship.

And we don't have

that many females

in organization,

but a majority of them

will come and find their safe

haven in my space

and empowering

each other to have strength

in uncomfortable

situations has been...

it's been such a joy to see.
