It's difficult for anybody who's been
in the military to come back
and just carry on like
nothing has happened
because you're just trained differently
and you've got a life experience
that just doesn't flow right back into it.
So it was difficult,
but one of the things as a 20, 21,
22 year old young man is the desire
for relationship and romance
and sex and whatever.
I ended up being very promiscuous,
I guess is the best way to put it
because I felt like the only way
I could find my identity again
was through relationships with women
that I was all right,
that I was normal, that nothing
was really wrong with me.
