I don't know if it's going to work, but I'll try it...

Transcript

In explaining EMDR,

I would talk about the trauma,

the experience, what I was thinking,

what happened, any sounds or any smells.

And after I said what I experienced,

my therapist would repeat phrases

and hold her finger in front of my eyes,

and I would have to
just follow her finger,

and repeat what it was that she said.

And I was like, oh, I don't
know if it's gonna work.

But I'll try it.

I mean, what did I have to loose?

I really, you know, I
didn't know how to help me.

I didn't know how to stop
some of the nightmares,

or alleviate them, or the thoughts.

So I said yeah I'll try EMDR.

Let's do it.
