I would say that initially
upon my return for the first few years,
I did not want to attend public meetings
to make public presentations.

The stress of looking over my shoulder and wondering
where the threat's coming from,
even though that

wasn't real.
That's part of the cognitive processing understanding.
You know, if you see a bag of garbage
or a dead animal
on a road in Iraq, it could be an IED.
So far, statistically,
the probability in Vermont is zero.
