Emotionally, it's been very hard

because I had to get to know a new husband.

And I still loved my husband, and he was still a great man,

but I didn't know if he would ever be OK.

I didn't know if he would ever be able

to leave the house with me again

and go to a restaurant or try something new.

I didn't know what kind of a life we would end up having.
