It just made things difficult.
I mean, it was hard to talk about, still kind of is hard
to talk about, but you've got to push past that boundary.
You've got to push past that barrier.
Really, I mean, I kind of internalized it.
I didn't really act out or punch holes through the walls
or anything like that.
I kind of internalized it more and it really isolated me.
And so I didn't connect with my son all of the time.
If he wanted to play, you know,
"Dad's having a minute," or whatever.
So it kind of distanced me from him a little bit.
