And I was able to evaluate, no kidding,
what was going on in my life,
and realize that I was having issues,
and I needed help.
I couldn't do it by myself.
And then, even after realizing I had a problem,
the fear of admitting I had a problem,
because of the stigma,
which was based on facts years ago,
it scared me to death, you know?
Everything I've worked for, committed my life to,
is gonna be gone.
So I had to work through that piece too.
Took a lot of soul-searching, but I finally realized that,
if there's gonna be a change,
I'm that one that has to make that change.
As my dad used to tell me, if anything's worth doing,
it's worth doing right the first time.
