I couldn't control my temper…

Jerry Boggess, US Army, 1962 - 1986, talks about how he knew he had PTSD.

Transcript

The main sign for me
was the fact that I would,

I couldn't control
my temper.

And that plus the
sleepless nights

and the wetting of the bed.

And I don't mean I was
urinating the bed,

I'm talking about
sweating in the bed.

Those three signs

actually started in,

pretty much when I was,

it wasn't very long after
Vietnam that it started in.

And I just didn't
know what to do.

I thought I had to live
with it, I did.
