How will this affect my disability rating?
And patients who have been service-connected
for a mental health disorder sometimes have concerns
that starting therapy, completing therapy,
actually getting better is going to affect their income.
And that's a tricky one to answer because I,
as a VA clinician, don't have much involvement
in the service-connection end of things.
But what I can tell patients is that in six years
of doing VA therapy, I've never had a patient lose
service-connection because of completing therapy.
