His family, the way they cope
is kind of to bottle up and close down.
And it's taken a lot for him to even do the one-on-ones.
It was when he finally realized that his anger
had gotten the best of him that he was like,
"OK, I need to sit down and actually talk with somebody,
not just try to..."
Because the first two years we went up to the VA,
he was just getting prescriptions.
He was just getting medication trying to help control it
instead of actually getting treatment.
So, we've finally gotten to the point
where he's willing to talk with somebody,
and I think that's a pretty big step.
