The biggest thing that I sense from him is

how he made it through and made it home.

I think he still feels guilt that he made it home

and some of the other people around him did not.

He doesn't view himself as a hero, he thinks that the people

who didn't come home are the heroes.

And I think he still can't believe how he made it through

and not feeling guilty about it.

I think he still feels guilt.
