Going to a restaurant with my father,

it was always interesting.

You never really knew what you were going to expect.

It could be anywhere from him not wanting a certain waiter

just because he just feels like

he doesn't want this person waiting on him today.

Silverware, like I said, he's really a clean freak,

so silverware that is suitable for you and I,

would just make him, "No, I need cup of hot water.

I need to soak my dishes in," and after that, then,

"Just bring me some plasticware.

I don't even want to use this!"

It just, I don't know, his patience just would be really short.

And of course, we all base our tips on how our service was,

and sometimes he would just feel like the service

wasn't up to his standards.

It kind of made me feel, sometimes, like he just wanted

the waiter to just come and sit down and eat with us.

Like, if they weren't there to refill his drink, then,

"What was taking them so long to refill my drink?!"

Like I said, you never really knew what to expect

when it came time to actually going to restaurants.

And then some days, we'd go into a restaurant and he's fine.

He's laughing and interacting with the waiter or waitress,

and other times, you just never know.
