Going into a building looking for the enemy, that changes your life.

Edward J. Fair, US Army 1970 - 1972, shares his advice for others who may be concerned about PTSD.

Transcript

For the young guys coming home today, a lot of them I've talked

to at the shelter have said that, " No, no.

We're fine.

We didn't go through that."

But going into a building looking for the enemy,

that changes your life and young guys don't realize it

until it comes back in their dreams,

when they're sound asleep and they're waking up screaming

and you hear them and they know it, but they still try to like,

"Oh well, that was just a one time incident."

Well it's not!

Until they get treatment, that's going to be more and more,

it will insert yourself to where you won't have a chance

to have a good life.
