If you feel that you're alone, or if you feel depressed,

or if you're drinking a lot, every day, by yourself,

or if you've had family members say things like,

"You're different," or that your behavior is hurting them,

I would recommend going to the VA,

for them and for yourself.

Find a group, get connected with other Veterans,

and then it becomes a -- as scary as it was for me,

the VA is a healthy, safe place for me now

because I always run into someone I recognize,

be it a facilitator, a therapist,

or another Veteran from one of my groups.

You know, so get involved.

It's helped me a lot.
