As far as our 16-year-old, she's very aware of the situation
because she sees everything that goes on.
And yeah, we do talk about it.
You know, if she's feeling frustrated because he's
taking things out of context or having a bad day,
I just have to remind her that this isn't what he wants to do,
it's just what he does and we have to be patient.
She doesn't understand everything totally.
She thinks, "Well, if he doesn't want to act that way,
why does he still act that way?"
But at the same time, she does understand
that it is a problem, and I think her big issue is,
why doesn't he just get on medication
and try to fix what's wrong?
That's still very confusing to her.
