My symptoms didn't come right out.
They weren't immediate.
It took time.
I left the Marine Corps New Year's Eve of '04.
I was married in June of '04 to my second wife
and it just fell apart.
By 2008, it just fell apart.
Everything just fell apart.
I wished I had known what it was.
I wish I knew what it was.
I have no regrets about my life.
Don't get me wrong, you know.
My fiancee is an incredible woman
but I probably could have been spared a lot of pain
and discomfort and other trials
if I'd have known what was going on.
