I can remember an awful lot of times thinking,

"There is nothing in the world wrong with me,"

that everything else was wrong in the world, but not me.

That's, you know, that's just not sound thinking.

If you're going around saying,

"Everybody else has a problem, and it's not me,"

chances are, yeah, you're the one with the problem.

And I did, I spent a lot of time doing that.

I can remember sitting in church in the congregation

thinking that these words didn't mean

anything to anybody else in the room

because I'm the only one who could possibly understand that.

Well, the fact of the matter is, it may have meant something

a little bit different to me because of my experiences,

but I was the one sitting there with the problem

and steeping in it.
