Different people have different goals
when they come into PTSD treatment.
But, in general, people come into treatment
because they want to get better.
They have symptoms that are getting in the way of their life
and they want these symptoms to go away.
So, whether they want to have fewer nightmares
or they want to be able to engage with their family,
to spend time with their kids and really enjoy it.
They want to be able to take their wife out to dinner
and not be so anxious that they're on the verge
of having a panic attack
and they're having to look over their shoulder
to see who's coming in the door.
These are all things that treatment can help you get back.
