Being able to control some of her emotions a little better.

Nathan Ball (Husband of a Veteran with PTSD) talks about how PTSD treatment changed things.

Therapy has really helped my wife.

Some of the things that she has progressed since I've

known her, in the last two and a half years, would be,

probably the biggest change I've seen is in her panic attacks.

She's able to control those, whereas previously,

she would be in a crowded public place and get anxiety

and I could just physically see a change on her face,

and she knew she was going to have a panic attack,

but it basically would just cripple her.

She couldn't even hardly say it, it would just happen.

She's progressed to the point now

where she knows if she is going to have one,

and if she feels it really strong, she'll try to make it

to a restroom or something where it's --

because I think part of it is the embarrassment or how they

feel bad about having something like that happen in public.

But yeah, as far as her breathing techniques

and the things she's learned through therapy,

just since I've known her, she's been able to,

she's come a long way in that regard.
