In the beginning...no one wanted to talk.

Bill Talbott (US Air Force, 1967 - 1971) talks about what PTSD treatment was like.

Transcript

The classes, in the beginning, it was like we were sitting

in a graveyard, nobody wanted to talk.

Everybody was just kind of a clam shell, but the three

facilitators that were in there slowly brought us around

and to where we could talk, and we opened up,

and even the quiet guy that was sitting in the corner that

probably had the worst experience of all of us in the class,

he even started talking.
