To be truthful I really didn't know how to ask for help.
Like I said, manhood, Marine Corps,
"surrender," that's not a word we used.
And fear, just fear of where that would go.
And when I realized that I had issues
about my combat experiences, which was almost immediately,
what I did is I'd numb myself by drinking,
and putting myself in dangerous situations, adrenaline,
and all the other "isms," women, sex, all that stuff.
But it was just I didn't know how to ask for help.
