Am I going to get re-traumatized?
Am I going to be worse off than when I started?
And what I just like to tell them is that, you know,
you're already having these memories come back
every day, anyways, or very often.
They're coming up in your dreams,
they're coming up in your daily life,
you're having reminders out of the blue.
And what we're going to do is instead of having them
out of the blue, we're going to take them
and deal with them head on.
So we're not adding anything, we're just going back
and revisiting something.
And it's a memory, it has already happened, it's in there.
We're not going to erase it,
but we can help you reduce the amount
that it has control over your life.
