My name is Albert Moreno.
I served in the army
from 2004 to 2006
as an infantryman
or 11 Bravo.
I was stationed in Fort
Louis, Washington,
and I was
discharged the week,
the week of deployment.
I was injured quite a few
times, actually
through various different
training exercises,
both my spine and
my right knee,
I've had multiple
surgeries.
And it got to the point to
where I was on my
third surgery
and they saw me no
longer fit for,
I guess that job title,
so it was either go through
various other surgeries
and probably pick
up a desk job,
or just accept a
medical discharge,
and which, at the
age of 19,
20 years old,
I accepted a military
medical discharge.
